An interesting fact for Taoism is that Taoism and Buddhism joined together for a bigger religion.
Taoists do something to represent all their 16 Gods and Goddesses, all of the gods of the taoist religion are either saints, immortals or demi-gods (also gods/goddesses). First what they do is they meditate until 100% of their mind is completely empty. This allows them to not feel some things. Including Pain, Horror, and lots of other things. It takes their mind off of things when they meditate. The focus of their meditation is breathing. There meditation is related to other types of meditation too. Taoist believe that meditating makes the Chi (Energy Force) stronger and improves your general well being as a human. "Meditation can be spiritual, but it is also physical."

Taoists do many things for their culture. Martial arts is one and also many rituals. One thing taoist will do for their culture is put all types of weapons and sharp items through their cheek out of the other cheek. Furthermore, they study martial arts. They use T'ai Chi, Pa Kua, Hsing I and Kung Fu for martial arts. Taoist and many of the other Chinese religions do martial arts because they use it for training. They also use it for discipline.
